How to Raise a Complaint

Last updated: October 2026

We want every homeowner who reaches Missedpilot Heating & Air to be treated fairly and honestly. If something went wrong, please let us know. This page explains how to complain and what to expect. It is a general template, not legal advice.

What You Can Tell Us About

You can write to us about:

  • Your experience when you called or contacted Missedpilot Heating & Air
  • How your personal information was handled
  • Anything on this site that seems unclear or wrong
  • The conduct of a provider we connected you with

If the Issue Is With a Provider

Providers in our network are independent businesses. They are responsible for their own estimates, prices, equipment, warranties, work and customer service. If you have a problem with work done in your home, the usual first step is to raise it with the provider directly and keep a written record.

We still want to hear about it. Feedback on providers helps keep our network honest. A provider that repeatedly falls short of our expectations may be removed. Please note that Missedpilot Heating & Air cannot settle contract disputes, handle warranty claims, issue refunds for a provider's work, or make decisions for a provider.

How to Send a Complaint

Email contact@missedpilot.living and include:

  • Your name and the preferred way to reach you
  • The date you contacted us or the provider
  • The phone number you called or the form you used, if you remember
  • The provider's name, if you know it
  • A clear account of what happened and what outcome you would like

After You Write

We acknowledge your complaint by email, usually within a few business days. We then review what happened, which may include contacting the provider. After that, we reply with what we found and any steps we are taking.

If You Are Still Unhappy

If our reply does not satisfy you, answer it and ask us to take another look. You may also contact your state's consumer protection office or attorney general, or your local Better Business Bureau. For concerns about an HVAC contractor, your state's contractor or mechanical licensing board may also be able to help.
